Children in No Man's Land

Check this new work coming out soon. Spearheaded by Anayansi Prado, producer of Maid in America, comes another promising work that reflects the struggle of DREAMers.

Please join me and my talented production team at the LA premiere screening of Children in No Man's Land as part of this year's Los Angeles Latino Film Festival.

Children In No Man's Land is a documentary that uncovers the current plight of the 100,000 unaccompanied minors entering the United States every year. This film gives this timely political debate about the U.S.-Mexico border a human face by exploring the story of Maria de Jesus (13) and her cousin Rene (12) as they attempt to cross the U.S./Mexico border alone to reunite with their mothers in the Midwest.

Correction on "Under the Same Moon"

The film will be released on March 21st And it might possibly be released 2 days early, on Wednesday, March 19th (release date was mistakenly written in a previous post as March 31).

"Under the Same Moon" (La Misma Luna)

A Spanish language independent film about undocumented immigrants was bought by five studios for a record $5 million.

Luna will be released on March 21, 2008.
