Our Plastic Death Trap in the Pacific

photo of an albatross whose stomach is full of plastic junk. By Chris Jordan

There is a huge area in the Pacific Ocean that is a gigantic blog of plastic. Today's London Guardian has a photo series of how this plastic death trap is killing our wildlife.

What can be done to help? RECYCLE! If you put a plastic bag in the regular trash, it will take centuries (if ever) to decompose. Don't get a bag when you buy something if you don't absolutely have to.
