Of course it would happen in Arizona..... they don't think much of humans there either. There are certain breeds of humans that are disliked in Arizona. If Target was a white poodle he might have lived.
As a precaution, always put a name tag on your dog....

After being spotted on the loose, she was reported to Pinal County’s animal control.
