Diabetes - a Global Epidemic

How can you avoid this happening to you?


1. exercise regularly
2. avoid fast food
3. eat lots of fruits and vegetables
4. get a good nights sleep everyday
5. avoid lots of sweets
6. eat food that has lots of fiber (click HERE for link to list)
7. avoid lots of cheese
8. avoid white rice - eat brown rice
9. eat a diet high in vegetables in fruits - low on meat




Little things make a difference:


1.  walk up the stairs instead of taking an elevator (esp if its only one or two floors!)
2.  when you work at a desk all day, get up every hour and walk a little
3.  go to sleep at a decent hour
4.  don't smoke!
5.  limit your alcohol intake
6.  try Yoga or Meditation (its great for your body)
